# App Layout

> A quick tour of the DuitPOS screen

## The side menu

The left-hand menu is available from anywhere in the app:

| Icon | Name         | What it does                                                |
| ---- | ------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| 🔲   | **Tables**   | Opens the floor plan — your main screen for dine-in service |
| 🛍️  | **Orders**   | Shows all past and active orders, with search and filters   |
| 🔔   | **Incoming** | Shows incoming Kiosk or QR orders waiting to be claimed     |
| ⏸️   | **Hold**     | Access held orders you've paused mid-sale                   |
| ⚙️   | **Setting**  | App and device settings                                     |
| 🗂️  | **Mode**     | Switch between Dine In, Takeaway, and other order modes     |

## The floor plan

When you open **Tables**, you'll see:

* **Area tabs** at the top — switch between floors or sections (e.g. Ground Floor, Terrace)
* **Table cards** — each shows the table number, seating capacity, and current status:
  * 🔘 **Available** — free and ready for a new guest
  * 🟢 **Occupied** — currently in use, shows guest count and time
  * 🟠 **Reserved** — held for a booking
  * 🔴 **Bill Requested** — guest has asked for the check

## The cart sidebar

Once you open a table, the right-hand panel shows the current bill:

* Items added to this table's order
* Guest count and pax
* **Send to Kitchen**, **Move**, **Settle**, and other action buttons along the top and bottom

<Tip>
  Look for a badge or highlighted row labeled **NEW ORDER** — this shows items that have been added but not yet sent to the kitchen.
