Why use multiple POS devices
If your location has more than one cashier station or a mobile POS for tableside ordering, DuitPOS supports connecting multiple devices so they all share the same tables, orders, and kitchen tickets in real time.Setting up the Master device
The Master device hosts the connection that other devices connect to — usually your main counter POS.- During setup, select Master POS.
- Go to Settings → Connection & Terminals to find your device’s connection details (a local network address and QR code, if supported).
- Make sure this device stays connected to your restaurant’s Wi-Fi.
Setting up a Slave device
- On the second device, select POS, then Slave.
- Enter the Master device’s connection address shown on its Connection & Terminals screen.
- Confirm — once connected, you’ll see the same floor plan and tables as the Master device.
Checking connected devices
On the Master device, go to Settings → Connection & Terminals to see all currently connected POS, KDS, and Kiosk devices, along with their connection status. What syncs automatically
Once connected, the following stay in sync across devices in real time:- Table status and guest counts
- Orders, item additions, and modifications
- Void, comp, and gift actions
- Bill settlement — a table settled on one device frees up on the other automatically
- Order history
If a device briefly loses connection, it automatically catches up on any missed changes once it reconnects.
