Go to Setting → Customer Display to configure a second screen that shows guests their order details as items are added.

Display modes

Same Device

Opens on a secondary monitor connected directly to this machine (e.g. a dual-monitor counter setup).

External Device

Uses a separate tablet or screen, connected over WebSocket — useful when the guest-facing screen is a different physical device.

Setting up Same Device mode

  1. Select Same Device.
  2. Under Monitor, choose which connected display to use — Auto-detect (secondary monitor) works for most setups, or manually select a specific monitor if you have more than two connected.
  3. Tap Launch Display.
The customer-facing screen opens on the selected monitor, showing live order details as you add items.

Setting up External Device mode

  1. Select External Device.
  2. On the other device (the one facing the customer), connect it as a customer display terminal using this device’s connection details — check Connection & Terminals for the address to use.
  3. Once connected, order details push to that device automatically in real time.
External Device mode is useful for tableside ordering setups, or when your checkout counter doesn’t have room for a second physical monitor.
The customer display is read-only for guests — they see the order and total but can’t make changes from that screen.
