Go to Setting → Card Terminal to choose and test the card payment terminal this device connects to.

Choosing a terminal provider

  1. Tap Setting → Card Terminal.
  2. Select your Terminal Provider from the dropdown (e.g. PayHere Direct (ECR)).
  3. Tap Save Settings.
The terminal’s IP, port, and API key are configured separately in the Admin Portal, under Payment Types — not on this device. This screen only selects which provider this device uses and lets you test the connection.

Testing the connection

  1. Under Test Connection, tap Test Connection.
  2. The app pings the terminal configured in the Admin Portal to confirm it’s reachable.
  3. The result (success or failure) shows below the button.
If the test fails, confirm the terminal is powered on and connected to the same network, and double-check the IP/port/API key configured in the Admin Portal under Payment Types.

How it works

DuitPOS connects directly to the card terminal over your local network — no separate bridge app is needed for supported providers. Supported actions (varies by provider): Card (Seamless) payments, DuitNow QR, Void, Settlement, and Reprint.
Once connected, card payments taken during Settling a Bill route through this terminal automatically — no extra steps needed at checkout.
