Brands let you group products under a named brand (e.g. Coca-Cola, House Label, Imported). They appear as filters in the Menu Builder and on product reports, making it easier to analyse sales by brand.

Brand Fields

FieldRequiredDescription
NameYesThe brand name displayed in the Menu Builder filter and on reports, e.g. Coca-Cola or House Label
ActiveNoToggle off to hide this brand from the filter dropdown. Products assigned to an inactive brand are not affected
Brands are useful for multi-brand outlets (e.g. a food court stall selling both branded beverages and house-made items) or for franchise setups where you want to track performance per supplier brand. For simple single-brand businesses, brands may not be necessary.

Create a Brand

1

Go to Menu Builder → Brands

Click Brands in the left sidebar under the Menu section.
2

Click New Brand

Enter the Name and toggle Active as needed.
3

Save

Click Create. The brand is immediately available in the product brand dropdown.

Assign to Products

Go to Menu Builder → Products, open a product, and select a brand from the Brand dropdown. A product can only belong to one brand at a time.
Renaming a brand updates it everywhere — all products assigned to that brand and all historical report filters. If you need to track a renamed brand separately, create a new brand and reassign products rather than editing the existing one.
