Individual values within a group (skipped entirely if the group is an Open Tag, since staff type their own value instead):Create a Tag Group

Go to Restaurant → Ticket Tags
In the left sidebar.

Click New Tag Group
Enter a Name, pick a Display Type, and set Request Positions.

Decide Open Tag vs preset list
Turn on Is Open Tag if staff should type a free value; leave it off if they should pick from a fixed list.

Save
The group is created — add tags to it next (skip if it’s an Open Tag).

Open the group's edit page
Click into any non-open-tag group.

Click Add Tag
Enter the Value staff will see.

Repeat for every option
Add as many as needed.

Save
Staff will now see this option the next time the group’s Request Position comes up.

Off: staff pick from a fixed list of tags you define (grid or searchable). On: staff type a free value instead — there’s no preset list, so you don’t add individual Tags to an Open Tag group.

They’re blocked from moving past that request position (e.g. can’t close the order) until a value is picked or typed.

Yes — the Channels field controls exactly that. Leave only the channels you want it to apply to selected.
