A Stock Transfer moves stock from one location (branch) to another — no sale, no purchase, just relocation. Stock decreases at the source location and increases at the destination, at the same value.

Create a Stock Transfer

Go to Retail → Stock Transfers

Under Retail — Stock Operations.

Click New Transfer

Choose the From Location and To Location.

Add items

Product and quantity to move.

Submit

Stock decreases at the source and increases at the destination immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — check Stock Balances filtered to the destination location, or trace the exact movement in Stock Ledger.
No — the total value of stock across all your locations combined stays the same; it just moves from one location’s balance to another’s.
